Sleep has been elusive, so I don't have a lot to report. I've kept up with my routines, had a fine amount of computer time, made plans to see a movie next Friday in an actual theater for the first time in maybe 7 or so years. I just came back from a party, bought a really nice drawing, and tried a new burger at a bar.
I also lost access to my Reddit account I've had for years because it wasn't email verified and there was "suspicious activity" on it. I lost a secret group that is important to me but I'm not exactly finding it in me to make another account.
Oh: and I creeped around a graveyard today, always a great thing. Lots of neon lichen.

Personal Finance Texts by Sapphirepaw/Sapphirecat is a great resource for people just starting to move from being scared to check their bank accounts to being people who actually handle their shit. I had to get my life together in order to buy a house a few years ago as a broke self-employed person with a million jobs. It did take a few years, but I am so glad I read some of these books and stared at my personal financial life in the eyes, even though money stressed me to death back then. It still does a little. I love to hype up my artist friends around tax writeoffs and index funds like I hype up my fellow normie friends about tech literacy and privacy. I have a small collection of soapboxes.
They made the following helpful tool as well: Quilt Draw! I think I'll probably use this in the project I'm working on next.
I went on Are.na for memes - honestly it's better than IG at its peak - saw elijah beaton's personal website and clicked on their cheap.urls.loan which is amazing. It feels like a takeout menu, and a nice resource for normies who need websites but don't want to build them.

I'm in an actually productive mutual aid group full of people who don't perfectly agree and we are getting shit done and feeding people and it's incredible. Much better than being around a bunch of dorks purity testing and acting like the cops to one another.
I also bought On-Together and you can add me! (small_cypress, my main server so far is the big blues 24/7 one - 109775241337807713). It feels a lot like Finch but multiplayer, time-based, with no creepy texts where a fake bird is sucking up to you in weird ways. It also reminds me of Habitica in its gamification of tasks. I'll probably write up a little once I've played with it for a bit.
